PIERCE     Susan Hatch, formerly widow of Allen Pierce of Town of Warsaw, who died
HATCH     intestate, on 28 June 1871 petitioned for admeasurement of dower in her late husband’s lands.  She petitioned for appointment of a guardian for the children and heirs, Frederick H., an infant of 12, and Elmer E., 9, who were living with her in Warsaw.  Charles W. Bailey appointed guardian of Frederick H. Pierce and Elmer E. Pierce.  Susan Pierce cohabitated with Allen until his decease on 4 Sept. 1869.  Land was 126 acres on Lot #46 in Town of Warsaw.  Benjamin Bishop, Samuel Fisher 2d, and James O. McClure appointed to admeasure.
